SENTO GIRL is photo project aiming to show you the renaissance of Sento through the collaboration of these wonderful creators! For the 5th series, we welcomed Ako Nagai as model and visited Benten-yu located in Koenji.
We challenge making Sento into completely another world by gathering the girls’ creators’ power in this photo project.
Ako Nagai is usually working as a model but she’s also known as huge fan of anime and games (especially Pokemon). In the next vol.2, we’ll show you the photos of Ako having fun with games in the bath!
For this series, we brought more cuteness to Sento compared to the previous series, with Ako’s cute taste and cute outfits by Honey Cinnamon produced by Kanako Hiramatsu, who appeared on SENTO GIRL’s first volume!
For the shooting, Ako turns into Benten-yu’s Yuru-chara (mascot) “Furotto-kun”…! Yuru-chara mystery!
Sento are public bathhouses which have been a part of Japanese culture for centuries and it may be worlds away from a lot of the latest Japanese culture usually featured on Tokyo Girl’s Update, but with the cooperation of TOKYO SENTO, we have begun our journey into the unique and comforting world of Sento!
