Never Mind the Chikuwa, Here’s Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku in the MV for “Zettee Anarchy”!

Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku kick out the jams in the MV for “Zettee Anarchy” from their 3rd album “Anarchy” (release date: April 20)!

The MV for “Zettee Anarchy” opens with the members of Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku sticking their faces into a large cutout for the cover photo of the regular edition of “Anarchy” in front of the Sony Music Entertainment Japan building in Ichigaya, Tokyo. Donning leather jackets and crazy sunglasses, they head to the recording studio before boarding a tour bus to embark on their “Anarchy Tour 2016”. Swapping out a strawberry for the customary watermelon that’s split open with a stick during the summertime (it’s a strawberry since it’s springtime?), challenging each other who can grip an elastic bandage in their teeth the longest, and yelling at the ocean before falling victim to a food coma in the aftermath of a Chinese food feast, it’s a pretty wild MV! Since the chikuwa seem to be an important part of the imagery, it’s unfortunate that they didn’t toss them into the ocean, so the fish used to make them could “return home”. From the way they were running towards the water, it almost felt like it was going to happen though, no? “Zettee Anarchy” was arranged by ABEDON (Unicorn) who also wrote the music and lyrics.

“Anarchy” will be released in a CD/Blu-ray version (Type-A), a 2 CD version (Type-B), and a regular single CD version. The Blu-ray for Type-A includes footage of “Ebichu History Medley”, a nonstop 20 song medley of all their singles, which they performed at Kishidan Banpaku 2015 (September 20, 2015). The second CD for Type-B includes selected live recordings from Toshiwasure Dai Gakugeikai 2015 at Saitama Super Arena (December 12, 2015). A limited number of special posters will be available to those who purchase “Anarchy” at Tower Records stores across Japan. A ticket for a 2-shot event and 1 of 9 randomly selected trading cards will be included in all versions as well. Also being released on the same day will be the Blu-ray for Toshiwasure Dai Gakugeikai 2015 “All Attrac-Star”. Don’t miss it!
