DJ Miso Shiru and MC Gohan to make Major Debut in November!

“Mother’s Food“, released in limited quantity with handmade production this summer, was a big hit in certain local area such as Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Shimokitazawa. DJ Miso Shiru and MC Gohan is now gathering attentions not only from music scene but also from various industries such as Art, Fashion, and Food.

She suggested “I suppose, I will make major debut around next winter” in the footage revealed in August. As the suggestion, her major debut work “ORIORI no ORYOURI -X’mas-” will be released on November 27th.

This work will feature 4 tracks that are based on the theme “X’mas × Oryouri (Cooking).” She described “From December to November 26th” from her unique perspective.
In addition, the limited edition will come with one more CD which will include all songs from the album “Mother’s Food” and some extra tracks. “Mother’s Food” is now difficult to get, so it will be a must-have item for whom couldn’t get the rare album.

DJ MisoShiru and MC Gohan
MisoShiru means Miso Soup, and Gohan means rice. With her motto “Good meal is a miracle in human history!”, she raps new style to enjoy food and music.
She introduces herself as “Gtluttonous HIPHOP.” Though the name is confusing, DJ MisoShiru and MC Gohan is a solo artist.
In the early summer of 2013, she released the handmade limted album “Mother’s Food. At DJ Miso Shiru and MC Gohan’s shows there’s a good chance food will be involved. Besides a hip-hop set, the audience can sometimes participate in cooking demonstrations.
