Dempagumi.inc wrapped up their activities at Japan Expo USA in great success! (reported by Ally & Sally)

Dempagumi.inc continued their North American debut at Japan Expo USA with a second and final day of scheduled appearances on August 24th. Perhaps due to being a Saturday, there were more attendees compared to Friday. They held a morning autograph session and early evening live showcase to wrap up their visible activities.

People began lining up for first-come first-serve Dempagumi.inc autograph session tickets as early as 8:30 on Saturday morning, and soon after that, the autograph line itself began. The excitement was higher than the previous sessions. While waiting in line, a duo of girls, one cosplaying as the large titan from “Attack on Titan” in a school uniform, brought their own ribbons and danced Den Denpassion! Ally & Sally also sang and danced various Dempagumi.inc songs. The autograph session opened at 10:00 with a continuously-growing line of fans, and ended up running an extra 15 minutes to cover everybody. People brought a wide variety of things to get signed including CDs new and old, call books, laptops, and even a Dear Stage member’s card. The girls received many gifts like candies, accessories, little stuffed bears, and even a box of fresh doughnuts.

After the autograph session, everybody went their ways until it was time to reconvene for the last performance at 5:15 pm. Due to scheduling, the room was not cleared before the performance, so there was no line outside the hall like for the Friday performance. Nevertheless, once the masquerade ended, the energy built rapidly for Dempagumi.inc. The fans from Japan quickly distributed checmical glowsticks to fans before the Dempagumi.inc Overture began. A good number of fans had their own electric pen lights as well. From that point, the performance continued with the same set list as Friday:

Dempagumi.inc said their final farewell for their trip to the U.S.A., then the audience chanted a minute and a half for an encore, but unfortunately due to scheduling it was not possible. It didn’t kill the energy however, since as soon as we were told to leave, people rushed outside to the goods sale table amidst shouts of people’s their favorite member’s names.
For Saturday’s goods sales, Dempagumi.inc prepared another set of autographed cheki photos, and even a few extra special ones with two members instead of just one. Only several minutes later, everything was completely sold out! After that, everybody organized to film a video thank-you message to Dempagumi.inc, asking them to come back soon. A good number of people continued to talk and compare cheki for a while longer, bringing a happy close to the day.
