Just in time for Marine Day (Umi no Hi, 海の日) in Japan, Akishibu project unveiled the MVs for “Summer☆Summer” and “Setsunatsuri” from their first single “Summer☆Summer/Setsunatsuri” (release date: August 9)!

Contributor Wanted!!

“Setsunatsuri” shows Akishibu project like never before, dressed in kimono and performing on the grounds of a Shinto shrine. Just like how they mix together the cultures of Akihabara and Shibuya, they are also mixing together the past and the present. If there are going to be some release events where Akishibu project wears those outfits, expect it to get really crowded!

Contributor Wanted!!

“Summer☆Summer”, as the title implies, is full of hot summer scenes, including the members dancing by the seaside in light clothing and swimsuits as well as BBQing. Retreating indoors, the MV ends with Akishibu project having a sparkly, feathery party away from the oppressive heat of a Japanese summer.

“Summer☆Summer/Setsunatsuri” will be sold in 5 different types. Type-A includes the instrumentals for both songs and each of the other versions include bonus tracks: “Everyday!” (Type-B), “Fighting star” (Type-C), a rerecording of “Dream in a sea (add Natsumi ver.)” (Type-D), and “Creaction” (Type-E). In addition to their regular lives at Twin Box Akihabara, Harajuku Astro Hall, and Shibuya Mount Ranier Hall and summer festival appearances including Sekigahara Idol Wars and Tokyo Idol Festival, Akishibu project will be gearing up for their biggest stage yet, Zepp Tokyo on August 22nd!
