AFA ID 2013 started at JAKARTA CONVENTION CENTER. This marks the second time that AFA takes place in Indonesia.
AFA is short for “Anime Festival Asia”, and it’s an Asia’s biggest anime and Japanese Pop Culture Event.
The event being held from September 6th to 8th, this year is expected to gather 30,000 people.
Now, we post the second report from this hottest venue! Let’s get started!

On the second day of AFA ID 2013, number of visitors was far more than the first day, so the venue was crowded with too many Japan culture enthusiasts.
Photographers couldn’t go to the main stage, they had to stay at the entrance lol
Well, the Featured of the day was the event held at the main stage.
Interviews with various artists and cosplay events took place there, so the venue was in full swing.

Cosplay Event
Not only at the main stage, but also there were lots of Cosplayers throughout the venue. Photo session occurred naturally here and there.
Live performances were held at the main venue in the evening. BABYMETAL, fripSide, and Kalafina appeared at that day. With music performance of DJ KAZU, the long-awaited live event was kicked off finally.Otaku of Anison gathered a lot at the venue, and shouted waving light stick.
We’re sorry but we couldn’t take pictures of live performances depending on various reasons, but feverish excitement of the hall had never cooled.
