On February 11, Tokyo Performance Doll held their Tokyo Performance Doll ~Chotto Tonari de Valentine 2015~ concert at Mt. Rainier Hall in Shibuya.
2月11日、東京パフォーマンスドールが、渋谷・マウントレーニアホールで「東京パフォーマンスドール ~ちょっと隣でバレンタイン2015~」ライブを開催した。
TPD DASH!! was the opening act, and they pumped up the venue with 5 songs nonstop. TPD DASH!! is TPD’s younger sister 7-member unit with the average age being 12.5 years old. They may be younger than TPD, but their sharp dance moves were good enough to be TPD’s. They have even held their own shows since the beginning of this year and are a unit to pay attention to.
この日のライブにはオープニングアクトにTPD DASH!!が登場、お姉さん譲りのノンストップライブで5曲を披露して会場を盛り上げた。TPD DASH!!はTPDの妹分ユニットで、平均年齢12.5歳 の7名。年齢的には下だが、ダンスの切れ味ではTPDメンバーにも劣らないようなパフォーマンスを見せる子も。今年に入ってからは単独でのライブ出演などもこなすようになっており、本家TPD同様に注目のユニットだ。
After TPD DASH!!’s performance, Tokyo Performance Doll took their place on the stage. They performed a total of 18 songs, including their 3 encore songs, for about 70 minutes in their nonstop dancing and singing “dance summit” style. TPD performed their previous generation’s “Kokoro no Rule” and “Junai 90’s” from original TPD.
続いてステージに立ったのが東京パフォーマンスドール。この日のステージは、いつもの歌とダンスのノンストップパフォーマンス「ダンスサミット」スタイルで、およそ70分、アンコールでの3曲を含め、18曲を披露。先代TPDのカバー曲である「心のルール」と「純愛90’s」が初披露された。
Tokyo Performance Doll’s biggest attraction is their nonstop performances, and they provided a spectacular performance this day; but if they have one weakness, it would be the rarity of being able to see their performances. Mt. Rainier Hall is slightly larger than their usual venue, CBGK Shibugeki!!, but it only holds about 300 people. With TPD’s popularity, it’s obvious that their concerts would sell out, but it seems impossible to obtain their tickets. (They will perform again on March 8th for their “Chotto Hayame no White Day ~Shijo Saidai no Perfect Day~” concert, but those tickets are said to be even more difficult to get.)
東京パフォーマンスドールと言えば、ノンストップのワンマンライブが最大の魅力と言われており、実際この日も圧巻のパフォーマンスが繰り広げられたわけだが、ただ一つ弱点を上げれば、 そのワンマンライブを見られる機会がなかなか貴重だということだろう。マウントレーニアホールは、普段、TPDがホームとしているお隣の劇場「CBGKシブゲキ!!」よりは一回り大きいが、それでも客席数は300席程度。今のTPDの人気から考えれば当然だが、チケットは即完売し、なかなかのプラチナチケットとなったようだ(3/8にはシブゲキで「ちょっと早目のホワイトデー2015 ~史上最大のPerfect Day~」ライブも開催予定だが、こちらはさらに厳しいチケット争奪戦になりそうだ)。
This spring, they will begin their third tour, Tokyo Performance Doll ZEPP TOUR 2015 Spring ~DANCE SUMMIT”1×0”ver3.0~ from April until May.They will perform on April 24th in Osaka, April 25th in Fukuoka, May 2nd in Aichi, and May 6th in Tokyo, but the only opportunity to see them in the Kanto area will be on May 6th in ZEPP DiverCity. Since it will be during golden week (the longest vacation period in Japan for many jobs), there is sure to be many concerts going on, but this one is definitely worth dedicating time for. For anyone interested in these girls, by all means please take the opportunity to see them live!
今年春、4月末から5月にかけては、3度目のツアーとなる「東京パフォーマンスドール ZEPP TOUR 2015春~DANCE SUMMIT“1×0”ver3.0~」が開催され、4/24大阪、4/25福岡、5/2愛知、 5/6東京と回るが、このツアーも関東圏で見られる機会は、5/6のZEPP Diver Cityだけ。ゴールデンウイーク期間中で他にもライブやイベントの多そうな時期だが、このライブには間違いなく時間を割くだけの価値がある。彼女たちに興味をもった方は、ぜひ一度、その真の魅力を体感してみてほしい。
