Idol Renaissance have unveiled the MV for their 3rd single on T-Palette Records, “Funny Bunny” (release date: December 22)!

Contributor Wanted!!

In the MV, the members sing powerfully while standing on a hilltop and in various points of a small town as the light of the rising sun breaks through the clouds lingering in the sky. This is Idol Renaissance’s first MV since the graduation of Kana Hashimoto in September of 2015 and perhaps some of the factors involved in making it were to reflect the group’s determination to keep going strong as a 6-member group?

Idol Renaissance has made a name for themselves with their impressive performances and covers of classic songs, and “Funny Bunny” is no different. It is a cover of the popular song of the same name by rock band the pillows, which was featured on the soundtrack for the anime FLCL (Fooly Cooly).

Contributor Wanted!!

“Funny Bunny” also includes a cover of “Music Lovers” (The Jerry Lee phantom) and “Silhouette”, which was the opening theme song for Naruto Shippuden when it was originally performed by KANA-BOON. “Silhouette” was performed for the first time on December 5th at LiVE GiRLPOP Vol.5 ~Emotion~, just minutes before the MV for “Funny Bunny” was released on their YouTube channel. Following up on the impending success of their sold out one-man live at Ebisu The Garden Room (capacity 300 sitting/500 standing) on December 12th, Idol Renaissance are aiming for even higher peaks with their February 28, 2016 one-man live at Ebisu Liquid Room (capacity 900 standing). Don’t miss the renaissance!
