Aoi Eir has released the MV for “Lapis Lazuli” (release date: April 22) which is the opening theme song of the anime adaptation of the fantasy novel series The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arusuran Senki).

Contributor Wanted!!

In the video Aoi sings under the light of a big blue moon while standing on a cliff and lying in a bed of blue flowers surrounded by torches. With orchestral strings and acoustic guitars complimenting Aoi’s powerful vocals, “Lapis Lazuli” is an amazing addition the legacy of one of Japan’s longest running fantasy series.

If you are in Japan, here is the version of “Lapis Lazuli” which is available on YouTube. For some reason, it is not the full version.

Contributor Wanted!!

“Lapis Lazuli” will be released in 3 versions: a first press limited edition with a DVD, a regular CD-only version, and an anime CD-only version. The coupling songs for all versions are “Utsusemi Ultimate” and “Rindo no Hana”. The first press limited edition version DVD has the MV and making of video for “Lapis Lazuli” as well as a video titled “Eir in Lima(Peru) the movie” covering her appearance in Peru at Natsumatsuri 2015 back in February of that year. The anime version includes a “TV-size” version of “Lapis Lazuli” and a “digi-pack” of illustrations from the anime.
