Gravure idol Ai Shinozaki returns to singing and falls in love with the kaiju Ele-King in the latest Family Mart commercial! Her former group AeLL. may have gone on indefinite hiatus but, Shinozaki remains committed to conservation as she introduces Family Mart’s new charging stations for electric vehicles.
Ele-King is hanging around outside a Family Mart when he catches a glimpse Ai Shinozaki walking by and falls in love with her. After several unsuccessful attempts to woo her, the manager of the store suggests he try being in a band. Appearing with an electric guitar, Ele-King and the manager back up Shinozaki as she sings in the parking lot. The music even features the familiar melody you can hear every time you enter a Family Mart!
The campaign page shows a few other characters from the Ultraman franchise so is it possible that there are more commercials to come in the future?
