Haruka Shimazaki Reveals Two New Baito AKB members as “Paruru Selection”!

On March 20 at “TOKYO GIRLS MUSIC FES. 2016 Supported by Samantha Thavasa”, Fuyuka Shigefuji and Yuka Hinode were officially announced as Baito AKB members of Paruru Sembatsu, chosen by Haruka Shimazaki from AKB48 who acted as the producer of the audition.

This was the second time for the largest classified temporary and part time job website in Japan, “Baitoru”, to collaborate with AKB48 to choose the members of “Baito AKB Paruru Senbatsu” (Part-time AKB Paruru Selection). The final audition was held in February 6, and two members were chosen.
Eligible applicants were women above 15 years old (excluding middle school students), and successful candidates signed a contract to work part-time in AKS (1000yen per hour). Those who passed the audition will work as limited time only AKB48 members until August 10, 2016 (Baitoru Day), however, renewal of contract may occur. The successful candidates will make a CD debut by a song written by Yasushi Akimoto, and will appear in the commercial of “Baitoru”.
Haruka Shimazaki commented,
“I chose those who were more cute than me and AKB48 members. Both girls have really small faces, and I tried put in members who had distinct characteristics with each other. Shigefuji-san is the cool type, and Hinode-san is the kawaii type.
Akimoto-san told me that I can decide whether to make a unit of these two members or of three members including me, but I haven’t decided which way yet. As for future plans, they will make a CD debut and appear on Baitoru commercial. I am thinking of putting an emphasis on their fashion, and I hope they will appear frequently in fashion magazines”.
Fuyuka Shigefuji mentioned,
“Though I was dreaming to become an idol, I realized that I was already too old. Baito AKB didn’t have any age restrictions, so I decided to give it a try. I hope some people will become interested in Baito AKB from today”.
Yuka Hinode expressed her gratitude,
“I am so happy that I am able to work as an idol that I loved for so long. It’s a short period until August, but please support me”.
