A pop idol group of 6 high school girls Team Syachihoko hijacked a passenger ship just only for August 20. It was the day that their 1st album “Himatsubushi” has released. The ship was decorated as a treasure ship which appears on the album. They had a small concert on the deck to celebrating that the tickets for concert which will held on August 28 at Nippon Budoukan had sold out.
Team Syachihoko invited journalists to a military-formed “Yakata-bune (a Japanese style roofed boat used for recreation)” named Atake-maru, and had a press conference and a concert. This ship was built in 1632, Edo-era, ordered by Ieyasu Tokugawa. Before the concert starts, they passed under the Rainbow Bridge. At that time, all of the members shout out a famous part of a famous Japanese movie; “Can’t blockade the Rainbow Bridge!!!”
During the concert, they performed 3 songs recorded in the album “Yoroshiku Jinrui”, “Syuto Itenkeikaku”, and “Dakishimete Anthem”. One of the member, Chiyuri Ito had a sore throat, so to play safe, she wore a mask and held a sketchbook which written the lyric. This concert was broadcasted live at Ustream.
And, their official Line stickers have started on sale from August 21. The stickers are illustration of Team Syachihoko’s member motif and their popular character “Syachihoko-chan.” The stickers said some words from their songs or dialect around Nagoya. Let’s enjoy your daily conversation on Line with the stickers!
