SUPER☆GiRLS Attempt an Escape From the SUPER★CASTLE in the MV for “Karei Naru V!CTORY”

SUPER☆GiRLS have broken out the MV for “Karei Naru V!CTORY” from their 4th album “SUPER★CASTLE” (release date: March 9)!

In the MV for “Karei Naru V!CTORY” scenes of the members of SUPER☆GiRLS dancing in a marble-floored ballroom and waiting for a meal while seated at a long table as if they were posing for Da Vinci’s “Last Supper” start things off. Midway through, they begin planning their escape from their gilded cage (perhaps a homage to the story of the dancing princesses) but are caught as they make their way through the garden by 2 men in suits wearing masks that look like the one worn by the villain in the MV for Perfume’s “Laser Beam”. How SUPER☆GiRLS didn’t escape was not shown, but with 2 against 11, wouldn’t at least a few of them have gotten away? As they are being herded back to their rooms, Nana Asakawa looks at the camera and whispers “victory”, perhaps confirming that it will not be the last time they attempt to escape. Here are some screencaps from the video.

“SUPER★CASTLE” will be released in a CD/Blu-ray version and a regular CD version. The Blu-ray will include the MVs for “Hanamichi!! Ambitious”, “Ahhahha! ~Chouzetsu Bakushou Ondo~”, “Icchatte♪ Yacchatte♪”, “Gira Gira Revolution”, “Karei Naru V!CTORY” and the making of video for “Karei Naru V!CTORY”. The CD/Blu-ray version will come in a special box with a photobook, and 1 of 11 nama shashin (Type-A). The regular version will include 1 of 11 nama shashin (Type-B). Both versions will include 9 new songs for a total of 14 songs.
