SKE48’s Rena Matsui Makes Runway Model Debut in KANSAI COLLECTION 2014 S/S

On March 16th, Rena Matsui of SKE 48 gave modeling her first try at the “KANSAI COLLECTION 2014 S/S” held in Osaka at the Kyocera Dome.

Sporting a boarder one-piece paired with a black stadium jumper, she appeared on the runway for her first time. “I often stumble during my live performances, so I was trying my best not to fall. Next time I would like to walk with other the members of SKE 48.”

“Time just passes by so quickly, but I was happy to see that so many of my fans came out to see me,” says Rena, when talking about her debut on the runway. When asked about her spring fashion, Rena casually stated; “Because knee-length flared skirts are currently in, and because I love the skirt of one of the girls in a manga I am reading, I have been incessantly wearing flared skirts.” “I want to wear a even more Western clothes and walk down that runway,” she says, revealing her future interest in pursuing a career in modeling.
