Rie Kitahara Announces Graduation From NGT48!

Rie Kitahara, captain of NGT48, announced her graduation during the second performance of the group’s 2nd anniversary live at the Niigata City History Museum on August 21, 2017.
Kitahara joined AKB48 in 2007 as a 5th generation member, spending time in Teams A, B, and K as well as SKE48’s Team S before being transferred to NGT48 in 2015 and eventually becoming the group’s captain. She was also a member of the subgroup Not yet alongside Yuko Oshima, Rino Sashihara, and Yui Yokoyama.
Details on Rie Kitahara’s final handshake events and performances with NGT48 have yet to be announced.
