POP (Period of Plastic 2 Mercy) announced details of their 3rd single “WE ARE the IDOL” (release date: July 19) during their one-man live “QUEEN OF SHELTER” at Shimokitazawa SHELTER on March 19, 2016.
At the venue where POP welcomed back Saki Kamiya from her hiatus after she completed a 100-km marathon on December 5, 2015, it looks like the group is getting ready to take another step forward in their evolution. Adding to the good news was the announcement of the group’s next one-man live “WE ARE the IDOL” which will take place at their largest venue to date, Shibuya WWW on July 18th (Marine Day)! “WE ARE the IDOL” will be released in a single CD version and the coupling track will be announced at a later date.
