Starting on June 19th, Perfume’s songs will be distributed through the iTunes Store in 116 countries, including Japan.
The distribution includes songs that were released after their major label debut, “Linear Motor Girl”. The starting date of distribution varies by country, and the date for the United States, Canada, and Mexico will be announced on the official site as soon as the details are finalized. Perfume’s world invasion has come into full swing, and this distribution will allow foreign audiences to easily purchase the group’s classics from the past.
Perfume’s music has previously been distributed overseas – in 2011, “Polyrhythm” was included in the iTunes Store release of the soundtrack for the movie “Cars 2”, and works after the album “JPN” had been sold on the iTunes Store in a number of countries excluding Japan, making this the first domestic distribution.
Furthermore, starting on June 19th, full size music videos of the singles released after “Linear Motor Girl” will be released on Perfume’s official YouTube channel.
