Perfume Invited To Cannes Advertising Festival!

Perfume has been invited to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, being held in Cannes, France, between June 16th and June 22nd. They are the first artists from Japan to be invited to the festival.
Cannes Lions is an honorable annual festival in its 60th year, and it is considered one of the three great advertising awards of the world along with the One Show Awards and the Clio Awards.
Daito Manabe, involved in a number of Perfume projects such as the group’s dedicated overseas site, “Perfume Official Global Website”, and the holographic effects for their live performances, will make an appearance at the seminar on June 20th, the largest programme of the festival. Using Perfume as the theme of the discussion, Manabe will introduce the advanced fusion of Japanese entertainment and digital art to the creators of the world. Perfume is also scheduled to make an appearance on the day of the presentation.
Perfume’s global site announced the launch of a new world-scale project for Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. A countdown began at the same time as the announcement – keep an eye on what happens when the counter hits zero.
