Futuristic EDM idol unit from historic Kyoto Mirai Skirt have slipped through time to reveal the MV for their second single “Sennen Shojo ~Tin Ton de Schon〜” (release date: March 2)!

Contributor Wanted!!

The MV has the members being beamed down to several futuristic-looking locations all over Japan and running in slow motion and scenes of them performing in a dark room lit by the glow of screens flashing bright images. “Sennen Shojo ~Tin Ton de Schon〜” was created by Kenji Tamai (agehasprings), who explained that he was going for a futuristic feeling with the image of a relay involving participants from the past and the future crossing paths to pass on a baton. Keeping with that theme, there’s even a scene where Naomi Hayashi runs past her present day self. Here are some screencaps!

“Sennen Shojo ~Tin Ton de Schon〜” will be released in 5 different versions. Type-A has a group shot of the 4 members on it and Type-B through Type-E have solo shots of the members on them. The coupling songs are “Gi・Mi・Yu・Ra” (possibly a katakana-ized “Give Me Your Love”?) and “Kira☆Hira♡Revo★Evo”. To celebrate the release of “Sennen Shojo ~Tin Ton de Schon〜”, Mirai Skirt is having a solo live concert titled “Isshoukenmei Tin Ton de Schon!~Kokoro ni Mederu wa Sennen no Oto~” at KYOTO MUSE. In addition to being Girls’ Day (Hinamatsuri), the date matches with their catchphrase “mira mira” because 3 can be read as “mi” as well as “san”.
