Just hearing the name “ZOMBIE ZOO ~a tour of a zombie holding facility~”(hereafter referred to as ZOMBIE ZOO) can send shivers down your spine, and is a new attraction that opened in December last year inside Japan’s biggest indoor amusement park “Tokyo Joypolis” which can be found in Odaiba.

As our reporter Tina doesn’t do too well with anything remotely frightening, upon visiting the new hot spot, she already felt scared just from watching the explanation video… She had this look upon her face.

The ZOMBIE ZOO attraction is, as its name suggests, a physical tour around a zombie holding facility. The attraction is set in a zombie research facility, and just as the visitors are listening to the researcher’s explanations, suddenly there is an outbreak of the zombie pathogen!

The facility falls into a state of panic and the number of groans from zombies begin to increase with each passing moment, with shadows of zombies appearing all over the place. And then a feeling of absolute dread peaks within the facility…

After coming out from the research facility, Tina was scared out of her wits as she said “I was caught off guard when zombies came out from behind me… that place is so scary.”

It’s so scary that kids under the age of 7 are not allowed in! (And kids aged 7 to 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). If you’d like the chance to experience a tour around a zombie housing facility then please be sure to check it out!
