Wear Fashionable Kimono and Strike A Pose at Moshi Moshi Kimono Salon!
Saki Shibata and Hikari Shiina have gotten information about a place where you can take cute pictures wearing kimono in Harajuku and went there to try it out!
“Moshi Moshi Kimono Salon Produced by Yumenoya” opened in September 10th in 2016 as a photo studio where you can take pictures of you wearing Kimono. It only takes a 5 minutes walk from Harajuku station and located on the second floor of “MOSHI MOSHI BOX”, which is a tourist information office run by Asobisystem. At this photo studio, you can chose your Kimono, wear it, have your makeup done, and have a picture taken.
The collection of Kimonos they have are a mixture of “Taisho Roman”. Taisho is the name of a period when Kimono culture flourished, and with adding “Harajuku Kawaii Culture”, they are calling it “Harajuku Roman”.
The clothing style itself is old fashioned, but it also has the modern Kawaii feature mixed. In addition, these Kimonos were created just for this “Moshi Moshi Kimono Salon”.
The Kimonos that the staff showed us were these. One is an orthodox yellow green based Kimono with a pink base Lolita fashion taste mixed, and another is a black based gothic fashion Kimono. The staff from abroad was wearing the Lolita fashion style Kimono.
Saki and Hikari experienced the basic course change up photo service with hair setting and makeup.
They appeared with their Kimono and makeup! Saki wore a pink dress like Kimono with a lot of volume in the sleeves. By adding a tiara, she looks like a princess.
Hikari wore a gold based Kimono with a modern pattern and a purple Hakama. It matched perfectly with the red umbrella.
Why don’t you go and try out “Harajuku Roman” at Harajuku?
