Harajuku idol group Appare! Harajuku step boldly into the future with the MV for their major label debut single “Kimi no Gankyugoshi Sukuitamae Idol yo” (release date: September 20)!

The MV, which was directed by filmmaker Raita Kuramoto, shows the members running along the seashore in muted tones on a cloudy day. The music is by Kazuma Hashida (Hakoniwa no Shitsunaigaku) and lyrics are by Ai Kobayashi, a duo likely to be familiar to fans of You’ll Melt More!.

“Kimi no Gankyugoshi Sukuitamae Idol yo” will be released in 5 different versions. The coupling song is titled “Endless Summer” and the music and lyrics are by Yunomi, who also remixed the bonus track “Appareruya!!”.

Appare! Harajuku will be hosting a free concert at Yoyogi Park Outdoor Stage on August 30th.
