Following the November 5th release of their mini album “Watashi wo Onigashima ni Tsuretette”, Suiyoubi no Campanella will begin touring this weekend, having just revealed the music video for their leading song off the album, “Momotaro”.

Contributor Wanted!!

Suiyoubi no Campanella mixes mellow and pure electronic sound with KOM_I rapping on vocals, and this strange but addictive 3 member unit has recently garnered quite a bit of attention. Only KOM_I appears on stage, with other sound producers and Kenmochi Hidefumi on support backstage.

“Momotaro” was released as a limited 100 yen single in September, and became well known on the radio and Twitter. The song is about a shut in, teenage Momotaro, who goes to Onigashima after many strange happenings, and is based of the theme of the old folklore tale, Momotaro. The lyrics are illustrated through the story of the animated character appearing in the MV. All of the animation was done by the pair Haku and Hiraoka of up-and-coming creative unit OTAMRAMS. During the ending credits the words “to be continued” appear, with the group’s up coming tour and anxiously awaited first one man live performance to follow.

After giving Suiyoubi no Campanella a first listen, their strange world and unique taste is sure to leave an impression. You don’t want to miss whatever they come up with next!
