“We Got Fired Up!” Morning Musume.’14 To Hold A Concert in Broadway, New York!!!

MM.’14 announced on May, 5, during the live at Nakano SunPlaza, Tokyo, that they are going to hold a solo concert at BEST BUY THEATER, New York, on October 5.

After The Japan Expo 2010 in Paris, they’re going to hold a concert in foreign settings for the first time in 4 years. The leader Sayumi Michishige, who announced her graduation from the group at the end of the upcoming autumn live tour, also will bring herself to Broadway.

MM.’14 has been extremely popular across the globe since its formation in 1998. Countries such as Taiwan, Korea, China, The United States (Los Angeles, 2009), and France had hearty welcomed the icon of all Japanese idols. It’ll be the first concert overseas for the current members except the leader Sayumi Michishige.

After showing off three consecutive songs from the opening, all members lined up in a row on the stage of Nakano SunPlaza. Sayumi Michishige started talking in an important but happy voice. “There is a special information!” With an air of pretension, “We, Morning Musume.’14, will have a solo concert in NewYork, the America on October~!!” Massive applause and mighty cheers celebrated the members.

However, the kawaii leader didn’t forget to release a thoughtful word for the fans in the venue. “Only who can afford to have a room to, you know, have a fun there, come to see us, please.” She received waves of laughter and applause.

One of the members, Kanon Suzuki, “I can’t wait to have a thick steak without worrying anything! Because we do have a concert in America, I’ll be able to eat big meals in American size!”

It’s hard to have an opportunity to participate in a concert of MM.’14 even for Japanese, if they lived in a country side. For American, the experience will be “once in a lifetime concert”.
