Lovely★DOLL’s Makeover! Former NMB48 Member Riona Ota & Former Street-sei Arisa Yoshihashi Join the Group!

Second generation leader of Lovely★DOLL, Yuki Iwasaki will be leaving the group at their April 4th concert to be held at Tokyo Kinema Club but, the group is adding several new members that may be familiar to idol fans.

Earlier in March, 3 new members were announced. Among them was former NMB48 1st generation member Riona Ota, former Jewel♡Kiss member Rira (Lilha) Nakagawa, and newcomer Miki Sakura. Four successful candidates from their audition which was held toward the end of 2014 were announced but, the 4th member’s identity was not revealed until April 1st. The 4th member is former TOKYO TORiTSU Kore de Iinkai (iDOL Street’s Tokyo group) member Arisa Yoshihashi, who graduated from the group in 2014. All 4 members are scheduled to make their debut with Lovely★DOLL on April 4th.

With the addition of another "48 group member" (Miyu Aisako and Yuriko Sano are former AKB48 Kenkyuusei), and members from other idol groups, what kind of new start will be in store for Lovely★DOLL in 2015? One thing seems to be certain, even if a member graduates from a group (or fails an audition), the chances of them making a comeback somewhere else are fairly high.
