LADYBABY is back to change the rules and smash boundaries again with the MVs for “Renge Chance!” and “C’est si Bon Kibun” from their 3rd single “Renge Chance!” (release date : April 13)!
The MV for “Renge Chance!” takes place in a ramen shop and it might be the most metal song about ramen since SEX MACHINEGUNS’ “Demaemichi Ichokusen”! Their choreographer Mikitty Honmono is transformed into a demon who steals Rie and Rei’s ramen just as they are about to eat it but, Ladybeard locks him up in an arm bar and he is changed back with some renge (Chinese spoon) magic! Lyrics are by Kenji Otsuki (Kinniku Shojo-Tai), and music composed by NARASAKI (BABYMETAL, Momoiro Clover Z).
In the MV for “C’est si Bon Kibun”, scenes of the members of LADYBABY working in a sterile white convenience store are contrasted with them partying in a room wrapped up in the bright colors of rurumu designer and filmmaker Kanae Higashi, who designed the costumes and is the director. Were you able to spot some of the Miss iD members who appeared as extras in the MV? Lyrics are by Natsumi Tadano (Dempagumi.inc, Momoiro Clover Z) and music is by Takashi Asano (Team Syachihoko, Dempagumi.inc, Otome Shinto).
Both songs have been produced by Mofuku-chan (Dear Stage, Niji no Conquistador). “Renge Chance!” will be sold in a CD/DVD version with the MVs for both songs included. Presale tickets for their first one-man live at Shinjuku BLAZE on April 15, 2016 have already been sold out but, at the rate things are going, LADYBABY will definitely be moving on to bigger venues and more countries all over the world soon!
