9nine Announces their First-Ever One-man Concert at Nippon Budokan!
Finally, 9nine released their brand new single “Re:” on November 20. In addition to the release, the group announced that they will be holding the first-ever one-man concert at Nippon Budokan on August 21, 2014. This was announced in a big way with full-page newspaper ad in Japan.
In this advertising, 9nine members are looking outward together in the same direction. This was pictured by surprisingly elaborate hand-drawing, and the advertising copy says “A dream once pictured, always come true”, “The Ninth Year 9nine realizes BUDOKAN.”
Nippon Budokan concert was 9nine’s long-desired dream since their debut in 2005. So the concert title has been named “9nine Dream Live in Budokan”.
Umika Kawashima commented in Japanese, “I’m very glad that we’ll be able to hold an one-man concert at Budokan in the important year, our ninth year!”
Uki Satake, unexpectedly, tweeted her feeling in English.

On its previous day (November 19), 9nine held a release-commemorate event at the garden stage of Tokyo Dome City “LaQua.” They performed five songs including “Re:” in front of 2,000 audience. Their emotional performance warmed the hearts of the audience gathered in the cold.
Before the Budokan concert, they plan to hold an one-man concert at Nakano Sun Plaza in April, 2014. The ticket application has already begun limitedly to fan club members, but we’ve heard that there was a better-than-expected application until now.
9nine has established their position as performance girls unit with great quality live performance. Don’t miss the 9nine’s next great success!
