The spotlight shines on Yuumi Shida from Yumemiru Adolescence in the preview for her solo song “Butterfly Effect”!
In the second of 5 solo songs which were announced for all of the members of Yumemiru Adolescence, Yuumi shows what might have been if the current idol boom had never happened as the sound and look of “Butterfly Effect” appears to be heavily influenced by the great soloists of the late ’90’s and early 2000’s. Longtime fans of J-pop may be haunted by the feeling that they have heard the song or seen the video before. Yuumi was Mai Takatsukasa, a time-traveler in the series Kamen Rider Gaim so, perhaps she used those powers to bring one of those lost songs into the present timeline?
Yumemiru Adolescence begins their “#Yume-tomo Mai Tour 2015 Aki” autumn Osaka/Tokyo/Nagoya tour on October 17th at Nagoya Electric Lady Land. While the Nagoya and Osaka (umeda AKASO) dates have already sold out, there are still tickets left for the finale at Mielparque tokyo on November 15th.
