BOYSLOVE (BL) now falls into a big category of Japanese subculture. The main feature of this genre is “Moe Relationships”. The relationships between men gradually becomes sexual, and when the two boys finally have sex, the readers rejoice.
ボーイズラブ（以下、BL）は現在日本のカルチャーを構成する大きなカテゴリーである。その一番の特徴は「関係性萌え」だ。男の子と男の子同士の関係がだんだん恋仲になっていく。そして、二人が一線を踏み越えてしまった時、読者は歓喜するのである。
One of the magazine that have been leading the BL movement in Japan is monthly Dear＋. First published in 1997, it has played an important role of developing the culture of BL. 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the magazine, and Shinshokan, the publishing company of Dear＋, is holding an exhibition of the original paintings from August 10 – 20 at Parco Museum in Ikebukuro Parco Main Building to celebrate the memorial year.
そんなBLを牽引してきた雑誌が月刊「ディアプラス」だ。「ディアプラス」は1997年に創刊するとBLという文化を作り上げる重要な役割を担うこととなった。そして、今年でなんと創刊20周年。メモリアルイヤーを祝して、池袋パルコ本館７階のパルコミュージアムで８月１０日から８月２０日までの期間、原画展が開かれた。
At this event, there are illustrations by more than 53 artists. It is so spectacular to see such an array of various original works of BL manga.
原画展には総勢53名以上の作家のイラストが展示されていて、目に飛び込んでくる絵の数々は実に壮観だ。
Among them, TENCOUNT by Takarai Rihito, a popular BL manga renowned for the fusion of its beautiful line drawings and story.
なかでも宝井理人『テンカウント』はその線形的な美とストーリーが相まって、大人気BL漫画だ。
Here are the special exhibition dates – 1st part: August 10 -14. 2nd part: August 15 – 20.／こちらは企画展示ゾーンとなり、前期：8/10～8/14、後期：8/15～20で展示が入れ替わります
KURONEKO KARESHI, which is one of the popular manga of Dear＋, there is an autographed box with stuffed cats wearing pendants made by the author, Aya Sakyo. They are so cute!
同じく大人気漫画の左京亜也「クロネコ彼氏」のコーナーにはなんと左京先生のサイン入り、クロネコ人形があり、なんと人形には左京先生が作った指輪がペンダントとしてつけられていてとてもキュートだ。

One of the unique points of this exhibition is that with a mobile app, you can download the illustrations at certain designated AR points. It will be delightful to take a picture with them.
この展示のもう一つの特徴はなんと各所にあるARと書かれた場所で、アプリをかざすとスマートフォンにイラストが浮かび上がってくるところだ。お気に入りのキャラクターと３ショットが撮れるのが嬉しい。

「数々の恋する男たちを生み出してきた」ボーズラブという新たな文化を牽引してきた「ディアプラス」の20年は、とても美しいものだった。これからの「ディアプラス」そしてボーイズラブ文化の発展が楽しみで仕方ない。
