UPUPGIRLS (KARI)

UPUPGIRLS (KARI) – UPUPGIRLS KAKKO KARI is a Japanese girls’ idol group of the production agency, Upfront Promotion.
The 7 members have all finished the Hello! Project Egg’s training course.
However, the group is not a part of the Hello! Project. As a familiarized version of their group name, they are frequently called “Apu-ga” or “Appu-Appu”.  “UPUP” has two meanings in Japanese, so the group name expresses the group’s concept of ”being overwhelmed = UPUP“ but “aiming higher = UPUP”.
