Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

Model-turned-musician Kyary Pamyu Pamyu started out donning “aomoji kei” (think “Harajuku”) magazine covers when she was still in high school. She got her ticket to stardom in 2011 with the psychedelic PONPONPON music video off her debut mini-album “Moshi Moshi Harajuku.” After winning the hearts of fans of “kawaii” the world over with her own totally unique style and bordering-on-the-ridiculous but mind-blowing vids, this young girl from Tokyo is about to show you just how “kawaii” Japan can get.
