I’m a 38 years old audio engineer from The Netherlands. For me, BABYMETAL has always had a special place in my daily life since 2011, when they first appeared on Sakura Gakuin’s debut album “Sakura Gakuin 2010 Nendo ~message~”.
I bought the CD back then and I liked it a lot! The major surprise to me, was that 3 of my fave members had formed a Heavy Metal Club called BABYMETAL. Since I’m from the Metal scene myself, I just HAD to hear what this was all about. And boy, they blew me AWAY!!! It was nothing I had seen or heard before in my life!!
Doki Doki Morning must have been playing non-stop for days without end!! I needed more!!!
And my wish was granted in the form of the “Kiba of Akiba” split single with the songs: “Ii ne” & “Kimi to Anime ga Mitai ~ Answer for Animation With You”. Excellent material which made me an even BIGGER fan!!!
That was when I just needed to get everything BABYMETAL related besides CDs, so I started browsing the web and asking my Japanese friends to help me out to get more merchandise from Japan. I was HOOKED!!!
Nowadays BABYMETAL occupies even more of my life as it has almost become a kind of second full time job. We run and maintain several BABYMETAL related fan pages on Facebook. Combined we have over 13000 BABYMETAL fans from all over the world and that number is growing daily! So be it at home or even at work, I’m always busy with BABYMETAL and I wouldn’t change it for the world! On July 1st, we’ll be going to BABYMETAL’s concert in Paris to have a blast!!! Can’t waittttttt
