Chiba (千葉) Prefecture is contiguous with the 3 prefectures such as Tokyo, Saitama and Ibaraki. Chiba is not Tokyo but, part of it is included in the Tokyo metropolitan area. For that reason there are facilities which name contains “Tokyo” in Chiba, Tokyo Disneyland is the typical example. There is no doubt that you’ve been to Chiba when you come to Tokyo from abroad because Narita International Airport is located in Chiba. There is also a country side in Chiba, surrounded by the sea and rivers on all sides are blessed with the nature full of water and green.
