To see the last big moment, μ’s fans gathered at Tokyo Dome on March 31st and April 1st, 2016. Also, 200 theaters in Japan and ten theaters outside Japan held a live viewing concert that broadcasts the live concert. The live started with the original animation movie with every characters appearing to cheer μ’s for their final live. First song “Bokura no LIVE Kimi tono LIFE”, their debut single without an artist name yet, and second song “Bokura ha Ima no Naka de”, the first season opening song, was performed in the main stage, playing the animation music video and the live performance on the screen. These two songs sensed the beginning of their final live.

Numbering singles were performed in the first half of the live, including medley with songs that were used in the anime. Documentary type videos, each casts reviewing back the track of LoveLive! project, were played in the intermissions. They talked about their first impression and what was going on behind the stage.

In the unit part, three groups performed three songs each. Printemps (Honoka Kousaka, Kotori Minami, Hanayo Koizumi) appeared on stage with “WAO-WAO Powerful day!” costume. Before singing Shunjou Romantic, lily white created the spring atmosphere with the fans using white and pink glow sticks to resemble the cherry blossoms. BiBi successfully lowered the high stage and bring them near to the audience by the fans’ passionate BiBi call.

After the 3rd intermission movie, members appeared with “Angelic Angel” costumes, and this is their first time performing songs coherence with the LoveLive! School Idol Movie. The high reproducibility of hairstyle and costumes were just like μ’s coming from the anime. Because the costume is a Japanese taste one, after performing “Angelic Angel”, two Japanese taste songs “Kaguya no Shiro de Odoritai” and “Datte Datte Aa Mujou” were performed.

Another intermission was inserted and the first grade members (Rin Hoshizora, Hanayo Koizumi, and Maki Nishikino) appeared with the same costumes as “Hello, Hoshi wo Kazoete”. Next, third graders (Eri Ayase, Nozomi Tojo, and Nico Yazawa) came on stage with “?←HEART BEAT” dresses. Lastly, the second graders (Honoka Kousaka, Kotori Minami, Umi Sonoda) wore Otonokizaka High School’s school uniform singing “Future style”. Every stage played the movie scene to playback the memories of the movie. Not just costumes, but the stage consisted with properties to make the movie scene real as possible. The casts’ moves matched the characters on the big screen.

Last year, μ’s visited several towns in Japan, selected by the votes from fans. The fan meeting tour had a tour theme song called “Mi wa μ’sic no Mi” and the memories dancing the song is might be still new to the fans who visited. This time, leading Riho Iida, members taught a little dance for “SUNNY DAY SONG”, a song that school idols from all around Japan performed in the movie.

The encore first started with the song that takes back to the first episode of first season which is “START:DASH!!” Honoka started out with Kotori and Umi to prevent their school from closing, and ended with nine students, successfully accomplishing their dream, singing this song at the last episode of the first season. Second encore song was what we have all waited for: Snow halation. As the intro played on, fans turned their king blade to white. Appeared on the screen was the music video version, 2nd season episode version, and the live performance took each screen on the big stage. The best part is of course the second chorus gradually brightening up in orange from the back to front of the Dome. This staging was naturally made by the fans unconsciously having the feeling of making a high quality live by imitating the moments from the anime. The last Snow halation again fulfilled the place in spectacular orange that fans wowed in great extent.

The last single “MOMENT RING” was also sang in the encore and is also the first time performing in front of the fans along with the movie songs. The performance was like a masterpiece of all of their tracks into one song with the same costume as the first single and similar dance movements from the past songs.

In the last interlude video, Emi Nitta commented that all nine casts put effort to make Honoka and everyone’s dream come true, and tell Honoka that “I have accomplished till the last”. As she said, the emotions and efforts that they fed into this live was passed along to the fans watching the live. It was a live that not just nine casts, but 18 members, including the nine characters, can only do. As a last message, Emi Nitta told the fans that they might not be able to meet in this kind of way, but promised that they will be μ’s forever no matter what. She added on saying “We cannot promise, but we want to meet with the fans again, and this is what we 18 members feel.” and in tears ended the live.

Everyone thought the live ended, but the shout of “μ’s” and the expectation of the encore did not stop from the audience. While this went on, a big flower bud came out from the stage and stopped in the middle of the dome. The bud slowly opened and became a huge flower stage with μ’s members inside which is the exact stage from the ending of the LoveLive! The School Idol Movie, and also the members were changed in the “Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari” dress.

The crowds showed this day’s climax heat up when it appeared in front of their eyes. After the song ended and casts were going back to the main stage, the fans sang “Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari” along with instrumental version that was played in the background. This sudden surprise could not refrain the casts’ tears and casts gathered to form a circle to thank each other. The only moment just by the nine casts were watched over by the fans. The final live closed shouting “Ima ga Saikou!! (Now is the Best Moment!!)”, the key phrase from the song.

We heard a large and long applause, and saw many fans crying, reluctant about their end. The story of LoveLive!, a story created with everyone, turned the last page of it, but we are excited what new story they will create next!
