X21 Reveal MV for “Shojo X”, the Lead Track From their 1st Album!

Beautiful girls group X21 have released the MV for “Shojo X”, the lead track off their first album “Shojo X” (release date: April 29).

“Shojo X” is a song that seems to have been composed while keeping in mind many of the classic songs of group idols. Perhaps this is sort of a tribute to the classic idol song “Shojo A” sung by Akina Nakamori? While it is not surprising that a group made up of the finalists of the “13th Japan Bishojo Contest” and belonging to Oscar Promotion (famous for Ayame Gouriki, Aya Ueto, Emi Takei, Shiori Kutsuna) would feature a lot of closeups of the members, their dancing ability is also impressive.

“Shojo X” will be released in a CD & DVD version and a CD version with a deluxe photo book. The DVD features all the MVs released by X21 since their debut as well as selected footage from their first appearance at Happy Jam in Osaka in 2014 and a dance video for “Gwiyomi Song”. The CD-only version also includes a bonus track “Material Girl”. X21 have also released a DVD/Blu-ray “X21 First Live & Document Vol.1” which documents their growth since their formation in 2013 and their first solo concert on August 23, 2014 at Shibuya Mount Ranier Hall.
