UPUPGIRLS (KARI)‘s long-awaited concert at Nakano Sun Plaza will be released on Blu-ray with a bonus DVD. “UPUPGIRLS (KARI) 1st National Tour UUG Chapter2 (KARI) Marching ~Super Showdown In Nakano Sun Plaza~” will be out on September 30.
The place “Nakano Sun Plaza” has been well known as an idol sanctuary since the great idols such as Morning Musume or Aya Matsuura became a smash hit. For UPUPGIRLS as well, who devoted their lives to become a member of Hello! Project, and who had stood on the stage as their seniors’ back dancer, it was natural to have a dream of holding their own concert at the place.
In 2011 by the decision of their production company, the seven girls were suddenly told that they were not in H!P’s future plan. It was the moment that promising stars in a major idol group lost everything. They, however, decided to try having their own Nakano concert without depending on H!P. Their death march to Nakano Sun Plaza started in this way.
In order to attract new fans, they eagerly held a joint live with non-H!P idol groups, performed in a lot of festivals, and collaborated with rising creators.
UPUPGIRLS (KARI) has been making a way out of no way, and still do the same.

I think it’s true for other idols too but, it can be the underlying reason why people love the girls.
Running with a strength born of desperation is what we can hardly do, and always love to see.
UPUPGIRLS (KARI) and the first concert at Nakano Sun Plaza is currently the best thing to take a look.
