“Jujika (The Cross)”, a soundtrack for the movie “Gakkou no Kaidan – Noroi no Kotodama – (The Power of Cursed Words)” is a new song by the 5 girls dance & vocal group “Tokyo Girls’ Style” scheduled to be released on May 21st. In a first ever endeavor, the music video for the song was released at 12 o’clock Hong Kong time on the 23rd of April. This has taken the local fans by surprise.

With the goal of “becoming a group that can be successful all over Asia”, Tokyo Girls’ Style has released albums in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and have a fan base in various countries.
This April, the youngest member Hitomi Arai will become a high school student allowing the group more freedom to travel and perform overseas. They are already scheduled to perform in Hong Kong for “Kawaii Pop Fes by Jam vol. 3 Hong Kong” which will be held on the 28th and 29th of June.

In the music video for “Jujika”, as it’s title suggests the cross is a recurring theme. The Tokyo Girls’ Style members look cute in white dresses on a gothic style set but there is another costume where they carry a cross on their backs with a daring design that exposes their backs with black mesh material- seeing them in these sexy costumes is sensational.
The song is being performed on their 4th tour currently in progress and is the first single from their fourth album “Killing Me Softly” scheduled to be released on the 4th of June, it is also the theme song for the full-scale horror film “Gakkou no Kaidan – Noroi no Kotodama -“opening nationally on the 23rd of May in which the members themselves star and you can feel the extraordinary effort that they have put into this work.
The work that sees an accomplished low-teen group become a girls’ group is not to be missed!
