Positive “mostly middle school student” idol group Otome Shinto have set free the MV for their 6th single “Kimi to Piikan NATSU☆Sengen!!!” (release date: May 27) which was filmed during 3 days in Cairns, Australia.

While the highlight of the video has to be when the members do tandem bungee jumping from a 50 meter high platform above a river or their live performance for the locals at the Fogarty Park stage, it is overflowing with so many cute and amazing scenes! It feels like they set out to have as many famous Cairns landmarks and symbols of Australian culture as possible appear in the video with Otome Shinto. There have been many MVs where idols would dance on the seashore or poolside but, how often does one get to see an idol video where they are dancing with kangaroos and Aborigines?

“Kimi to Piikan NATSU☆Sengen!!!” will be released in 2 different limited edition versions (CD & DVD) and a regular version (CD). The Type-A version DVD has the full-length MV for “Kimi to Piikan NATSU☆Sengen!!!” and a making of movie and the Type-B version DVD has a documentary of Otome Shinto’s Australian bungee jumping adventure. All three types will include 1 of 8 different “nama shashin” for a limited time. “Kimi to Piikan NATSU☆Sengen!!!” was written by NOBE with lyrics by Tomomi Narimoto and arrangement by PandaBoY. The coupling song “Toriko Toriko Toriko” was written and arranged by Ayumi Tamura. Before you “throw another shrimp on the barbie”, why not check out Otome Shinto’s new MV and make a regular day a “G’day”?
