Momoiro Clover Z Momoka Ariyasu Graduates from Nihon University College of Art, Receiving Two Awards!

Momoka Ariyasu (Momoiro Clover Z) announced her graduation from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Photography. She also received double honors of “Encouragement award from Department of Photography”（写真学科奨励賞） and “Special award from the dean of College of Art”（芸術学部長特別表彰）.

She had been studying at the university since Spring 2013, however this fact was not disclosed to media and fans. The rising popularity of the group was unstoppable at the time, as it was just after their first appearance at NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen 2012 and Arena Tour with their their 2nd album “5th dimension”.
It must not be easy to balancing studying and working as professional idol, however she completed her school life without failing any class, saying “I’ve been supported by a lot of people; my friends, faculties, the members and staffs of Momoiro Clover Z.” She also commented to her fans saying “I’m sorry for my 4 years’ secret, but anyway I’m glad that I could finally tell it to you. I’m planning a lot of surprises to you, so keep your hopes up!”.
Her graduation project titled as “Kokoro no Senritsu” is composed of photos taken during her school life including 2 self-portraits, featuring the lyrics written by her. On June 2017 she is going to hold her solo concert tour titled “Kokoro no Senritsu ~Feel a heartbeat~ Vol.1” at Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. Her works will be presented at the venue.
