Strangely Cute Doll Animation Series, MILPOM★ Started It’s First Episode about “Halloween Party”

MILPOM★, the strange, but cute doll animation series from presented by Bandai Namco Pictures, Cover, Vithmic and ASOBISYSTEM, have officially started streaming on official Bandai Namco Picture Youtube account, from September 5th, 2015.

MILPOM, SILKY, and CACAO are three young girlfriends who are in the world filled with “kawaii” essences and everyone wearing animal costume head. The story basically is about the everyday life of the main character MILPOM and her friends who are cute, but also a bit edgy in their conversation. The first episode is about those three girls discussing about what costume to wear for Halloween party coming up. Would they come up with those new ideas for Halloween?

Hikari Shiina, regular model for “Popteen” and “KERA,” plays the role as MILPOM; Ai Matsumoto, model appearing in many magazines and currently expanding her activity to television, plays the role as SILKY; and Anna Yano, popular “aomoji-kei” model mostly appearing in the magazine “KERA” and “mer,” plays the role as CACAO. The opening theme of the series, “Milky Rally” is sung by Anna Yano, and produced by kz from livetune, which spices up the Kawaii world of MILPOM★.

At “MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON FESTIVAL 2015 in SINGAPORE,” hosted by ASOBISYSTEM, on September 5 and 6, 2015, talk-show event by Hikari Shiina (as MILPOM) and Anna Yano (as CACAO), the photo-session event, and the related goods pre-selling booth were a success.
