On April 26, Maneki Kecha’s “Kimiwazurai / Mousouzakura” successfully ranked 1st place on Oricon Daily Chart, and they left a vivid impression on their debut to the idol scene. They have a super busy one-man schedule as they are aiming to perform on Kouhaku Utagassen, the popular annual TV program of a contest between male and female popular singers, broadcasted on New Year’s Eve. On the day when their single received 1st place, they announced that they will be holding a live on June at Zepp Tokyo and on July at Nakano Sunplaza. Their first stage at Zepp Tokyo on June 26 was as blast!

The venue was filled with excitement even before the performance started, which made us forget that it has only been two months since their debut. As the venue darkened, the movie of the members disclosing their thoughts towards their activity as an idol was shown on screen, and the audience’s eyes were fixed on it. When the video ended, the members appeared on stage in a China dress motif costume, and fascinated the audience by their solo dance.

The first song was their indies single “Joudan Ja Naine”. The dazzling melody heated up the floor, the audience shouted out the “mix”, and the members continued their live with full of energy.

When the venue heated up the most towards the middle of the live, they sung a cheer song “Ittou Ryoudan” and “Bokuga Bokuwo”, which implies the message that every person should believe and love themselves.

After performing those two songs, they announced a free live “Maneki Kecha Splash!” scheduled to be on August 31 at Yoyogi Kouen Yagai Ongakudou (Yoyogi Park Outdoor Concert Hall)! As the words “5000 Capacity Venue” were shown on screen, the leader Miyuu Nakagawa stated, “This day, we will make Yoyogi Park Outside Concert Hall soaking wet with sweat”.

When they finished revealing their next challenge at a large stage, they sung “Kimiwazurai” and “Mousouzakura”, and the live came towards the end. The ensemble with Chiai Fujikawa as the lead vocal, who has an outstanding voice, astonished the floor, and the performance came to the climax with the third new single medium ballad song “Time Machine”. Recalling Fujikawa’s words “I almost cried when this song completed”, members actually showed tears on their eyes while singing this song. As they attracted the audience with their charisma, they ended the live with their usual phrase.

After the encore call, the members sung “Joudan Janaine” and “Kimiwazurai” as if they were reflecting back on their live of the day, and brought down the curtain of Zepp Tokyo. Looking towards their next live at Nakano Sunplaza, they finished their 3 hours masterpiece live.
