Love Live! Voice Actresses Pile and Riho Iida Form New Idol Unit “4to6”

A big unit from the popular TV anime program “Love Live!” will be releasing their major debut single “Watashi no Tokei wa Gyaku Kaiten” on August 20. You have probably heard their sweet voices. The unit is consisting of the two voice actresses : Pile (role : Maki Nishikino) and Riho Iida (role : Rin Hoshizora).

The group’s name is 4to6, because 4 o’clock to 6 o’clock—the time from when classes at school end to when you go back home—is the time that you can do stuff after school.

The song released this time likewise follows the above concept, using a melody with uptempo rythm like the heartbeat of a young girl in love, recounting pangs of love while getting back to the house at the last permissible moment.

This song is one of two recorded in the debut single, “My clock is going backwards!” The popular song writer Aki Hata wrote the lyrics of both songs for Love Live while the group’s production team took care of the music and editing.
