On July 21, many idols gathered at a large open-air festival titled “SEKIGAHARA IDOL WARS 2014 – Sekigahara Utahime Gassen-” held in Sekigahara, Gifu.
Sekigahara is known for “the Battle of Sekigahara”, a decisive battle on October 21, 1600 which cleared the path to the Shogunate for Tokugawa Ieyasu.

From the “iDOL Street”, SUPER☆GiRLS performed as the headliner of this large-scale event. Moreover, Cheeky Parade, GEM, NAGOYA Chubu, and e-Street Senbatsu (the all star team from iDOL Street trainee) also participated in the event.

The historic location spurred young girls on.

GEM‘s member Yu Morioka declared during the MC, “This Mt.Momokubari was where Ieyasu Tokugawa first set up his base camp for the Battle of Sekigahara. Following their example, we also want to conquer the entire Idol World!”
