On October 8, 2014, The virtual Japanese pop star, Hatsune Miku, appeared on the Late Show with The David Letterman and realized her American television debut.
There have been a lot of iconic musical moments during David Letterman’s tenure at the Ed Sullivan Theater, Japanese hologram idol marked a new chapter in the history of the show. Dave was understandably a little skeptical, but he seems to warm up to her by the end. They even wave to each other. It’s pretty cute!
Miku performed “Sharing the World,” and the crowd really seemed into it.
