hanarichu, the “flower gardening idol unit” is being “shipped out”! In a video uploaded to their official YouTube channel, details of the group’s final live were revealed.
Opening with shots of single tears running down the members’ cheeks set to dramatic piano music, the video announces that the final “shipment” of hanarichu will take place at Roppongi Morph on August 7 (“Flower Day” because in Japanese 8 can be read as “ha” and 7 can be read as “na”). The future of the group was already somewhat uncertain with the graduation announcement of Momo Ogata at hanarichu’s tour finale on February 1, 2015. Ogata graduated on March 27th.
Ririka Kodama and Hazuki Sakamoto were announced as members of iDOL Street’s 4th group The World Standard (Wa→Suta) on March 29, 2015 and have been the opening act for SUPER☆GiRLS, GEM, and Cheeky Parade. However, with the restructuring of the Street-sei (iDOL Street trainees) system, which consolidated all of the regional groups into e-Street (Sapporo Snow♥Loveits, TOKYO TORiTSU Kore de Iinkai, SENDAI Twinkle☆moon) and w-Street (Osaka DAIZY7, FUKUOKA Hakata Minion☆, NAGOYA Chubu), the future plans of Honoka Yoshimoto and Yui Mitani are not as certain.
