Even though “Kabe-don” has captured the imagination of young romantics in Japan and across the world lately, “don” simply is the sound of something being struck. In this case, it refers to the taiko drums used in the song, emphasized by the choreography which loosely resembles drumming. They show off other things that bump and bang like “oshiri-zumo” (butt sumo) and of course, the “kabe-don”. As always, a FES☆TIVE MV is full of items found at a Japanese matsuri such as yo-yo balloons, masks, and chocolate dipped bananas.

In case you can’t stop yourself from moving every time you hear “Don Doko Matsu-rhythm -Moriagare Taiko-chan-“, there is a video that shows the choreography so you can dance along!
