The MV for Tomomi Itano‘s upcoming 6th single “COME PARTY!” (release date: December 17) is out now and one thing seems certain: nothing or no one can stop her from partying all night long!
Set in that super cool party world where everyone dances in slow motion, Itano struts into what looks to be the most fashionable condemned building in Japan. One of her backdancers viciously kicks a chair that was in no one’s way, echoing a similar scene from Majisuka Gakuen. They then tear down some barricade tape, probably leftover from the last party Itano had before a sniper with a toy gun attempts to take her out from behind. Luckily, a bodyguard in kendo gear jumps in front of the bullet, saving the party. Even more lucky was that the sniper only had one bullet? A swamp monster then appears but is lead away by the back dancers so the party can kick into high gear!
Joined by legendary party master Akkun Shibuya and a bunch of other people who are probably all fashion designers, models or DJs depending on the day, Itano leads them in a dance during the easy to remember chorus while wearing a sequined American flag outfit. She then swings from the ceiling while wearing a black and white jester’s outfit. This is only a short version of the video so we can’t wait to see where things go from there!
