AKB48 Starts a Revolution in the MV for “Tsubasa wa Iranai”!

AKB48 take a look back at the past while facing forward with Mion Mukaichi’s first turn at center in the MV for their 44th single “Tsubasa wa Iranai” (release date: June 1)!
Yuki Kashiwagi, Mayu Watanabe, Rino Sashihara, and Sayaka Yamamoto join Mion as the main cast of a 32 member senbatsu that seems to have been transported into the 1970’s, with the student movements as the focus of the story. The music and arrangement is by Makoto Wakatabe and as always the lyrics are by Yasushi Akimoto.
“Tsubasa wa Iranai” will be released in 3 limited editions and 3 regular versions. Type-A includes the Team A song “Set Me Free”, the Team B song “Koi Suru to Baka wo Miru”, the MVs for those songs (and “Tsubasa wa Iranai”) and a video titled “Nakanishi Chiyori Busu Series: Busu no Omoide”. Type-B includes the Team A song “Set Me Free”, the Team 4 song “Kangaeru Hito”, the MVs for those songs (and “Tsubasa wa Iranai”) and a yet untitled video. Type-C includes the Team K song “Aishuu no Trumpeter”, the Team 8 song “Yume he no Route” and the MVs for those songs (and “Tsubasa wa Iranai”). This is the single that includes voting codes for the 8th annual Senbatsu Sousenkyo (general election) so you know what you have to do if you want to see your oshimen get her name called on June 18, 2016 at HARD-OFF ECO Stadium Niigata!
