49 Candidates of the 2nd AKB48 Draft Conference are Waiting to Have Their Chances as One of the AKB48 Group Members!!

The 2nd AKB48 Group Draft Conference has announced 49 candidates that have passed the third audition.
On March 1st, the third examination of “AKB48 group Draft Conference Candidate Audition” was held, and final 49candidates were chosen to go on to the 2nd AKB48 Group Draft Conference, which is on May 10th.
First of all, what is the AKB48 Group Draft Conference? “The 2nd AKB48 Group Draft Conference” is a new scouting audition event of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48. The captains (SKE48 will be its leader) of each group, each theater’s managers, and scout-men, who are selected from each team members, are to consult and decide the needed person from the 49candidates. When the nominee clashed, the lottery is drawn by the captains. The candidates are chosen from the three stages audition.
The candidate who have been chosen and got into a team would achieve the title of ‘kenkyusei (trainee)’ in the entering team. The trainee will work as the trainee of the entering team, working hard to become the official member.

(Team8 will not attend the draft conference to choose a new member.)
